FIELD: oil producing industry; may be used in development of water-flooded reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: method is based on use of gravitational separation of water and oil in flow of water circulating in formation. Oil washed out by water from low-permeable rock sections rises upward and accumulates in elevated parts of deposit. The essence of the invention consists in that injection into formation of displacing agent (water) and forced withdrawal of formation products are carried out in the interval located below the flowing water-oil contact, and oil is withdrawn from the wells located on elevated parts of deposit from the roof, internal of formation, with use for the purpose, of vertical or horizontal bores, horizontal fissures or caverns formed in roof part of producing formation. Bottom-hole formation zone is periodically hydrophobized. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 2 dwg
