FIELD: development of highly nonuniform oil pools. SUBSTANCE: method provides for two-stage operation of wells. At the first stage, fluid is withdrawn from producing wells at bottom pressures below the pressure of oil saturation with gas. Simultaneously water cutting of well production is controlled and is effected on relative residual total reserves of oil in formation. Upon reaching of its critical value, drained zone of formation in injection and producing wells are plugged back. Producing wells are shut-in until bottom-hole pressure exceeds the pressure of oil saturation with gas. At the second stage fluid is withdrawn from producing wells at bottom-hole pressures not below the saturation pressure with maintenance of value of injection of displacing agent within the interval of values from saturation pressure to vertical rock pressure. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
