FIELD: manufacture of electric machines. SUBSTANCE: electric motor has housing with excitation coils, brush holder with brushes, bearing holder and armature with commutator. Housing is provided with extrusions over its locating diameter for bearing holder which are located radially opposite each other; bearing holder is located between these extrusions and end of locating diameter for angular sliding motion till its projections rest against extrusions provided over periphery of external surface of holder which is provided with grooves over its outer diameter for passage of extrusions through them in mounting and dismantling the holder with housing. Method of assembly of electric motor consists in clamping the bearing holder between cover and housing and holding it against turn. Holder is mounted in locating diameter of housing till it rests against its end so that extrusions pass through recesses of holder; then holder located between end of housing and its extrusions is turned in way of rotation of armature till projections of holder rest against extrusions of housing.
