FIELD: special equipment, mainly tests of fuzes of passive ammunition and means of protection against them. SUBSTANCE: method solves the problem of estimation of serviceability of discrete-type sensors, in particular, contactless fuzes, as well as of means of protection of equipment changing its physical fields, it includes operations of arrangement of a great number of sensors in the form of inert assemblies on the ground in conditions close to real ones, action on them of the physical fields of objects, mainly of military equipment, changed or not changed by means of protective devices, detection of response of the sensors and processing of the results. The device has inert assemblies installed on the route of movement of the object to be hit in the axis of its movement on lines perpendicular to this axis. Object location sensors are installed along the track, the sensors contain radiators and radiation receivers. The discrete-type sensors (inert assemblies) and radiation receivers are electrically coupled via two-wire stubs to a display unit, which is coupled through a cable to the analog-to-digital converter of the personal computer of a standard configuration. An infra-red or monochromatic light source is used as the source of directional radiation. The display unit uses a DC source with positive and negative busbars, n identical conversion channels, each containing a rectifier bridge, indicator, for instance a light-emitting diode, electronic switch, voltage divider with resistors, and a two-wire line for the discrete-type sensor.
