FIELD: grading or selection of thermistors in the field of temperature measurements. SUBSTANCE: method consists in measurement of the thermometric parameter of the thermistors under test and of a standard thermistor at m ≥ 2 values of temperature, conversion of the measured value to a code, determination of correlating index Li for each thermistor by formula: , where n-number of measurements of thermometric parameter values, m - number of temperature check values, aji - measured value of thermistor resistance, comparison of the standard and tested thermistors according to the correlating index and grading of the tested thermistors by groups. The device for realization of the method uses g tested thermistors 1, one thermostat 2, one thermometric parameter meter 3, one standard thermistor 4, one switch 5, one display unit 6, one DC source 7, one setter 9 of temperature in the thermostat, two voltage comparators 9, 10, one reference voltage box 11, one control unit 12, two permanent storages 13, 14, two internal storages 15,16, one subtracter 17, one multiplier unit 18, one summer 19 and one actuator 20.
