FIELD: amperometric measurements. SUBSTANCE: amperometric indicator has measurement unit and hydraulic unit including amplifier with thermal compensator, potentiostat maintaining level of potential of reduction of free chlorine at cathode, flow amperometric cell and hydraulic system keeping constant rate of flow of water analyzed in it. Cell incorporates cathode - electrode on noble metal, comparison electrode- ion-selective membrane electrode and anode. Anode in this case is made in the form of body of flow amperometric cell made from stainless steel with pipe unions for inlet and outlet of water which are positioned with displacement relative to vertical axis of anode connected by electric circuit with one of outputs of potentiostat which other output is linked to comparison electrode.
