FIELD: analytical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlling quality of nitric acid esters from their acidity value and, namely, controlling acidity of nitric acid esters by measuring electric parameters of electrical element using nitric acid esters as electrolyte. In this case, current intensity in irreversible corrosion element is measured at minimum permissible resistance of external medium. Analytical device comprises electrical element consisting of two electrodes with terminal leads. Element constitutes one-chamber flow cell wherein electrodes are disposed, anode being made of electronegative active metal passivating in neutral and slightly alkali media and cathode of electropositive metal with low hydrogen overpotential reducing polarization of electrode. Rod-like anode is coaxially inserted into cylindrical cathode, terminal lead of the former being made in the form of ring connected with rod through conducting bridges. EFFECT: improved design.
