FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly manufacture of laminate parts such as sleeves. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of assembling core with outer and inner casings, sizing assembled blank simultaneously along outer and inner surfaces at thinning walls of said casings, curling and welding opened ends of blank and subjecting it to thermal diffusion treatment; additionally deforming blank, successively sizing outer and inner surfaces without thinning walls of said casings. Apparatus for making laminate sleeve-type parts includes drift mounted in lower plate, upper plate rigidly connected with said lower plate, carrying die and hollow punch secured to drive plate and coaxial with said drift and die. Drift has sizing step in the form of cylinder whose diameter is equal to diameter of cylindrical land arranged lower than boundary of cylindrical land of die.
