FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: billet of shell with bottom part is assembled with core billet. The latter is arranged with cylindrical part and toroidal parts at the butt ends. After assembly abutment of core billet end is provided to bottom part of shell billet. For that purpose deformation force is applied to open butt end of core, and thrust pressure force is applied to dead butt end of assembly billet. Then assembly billet is transported to device for calibration, not removing thrust pressure force. Calibration is carried out by means of shell billet stretching with wall thinning. At initial stage of calibration bottom part of shell billet is pressed and deformed to the section that passes through the plane of core billet cylindrical part contact with its toroidal section. Then further calibration is carried out, assembly billet is sealed, and its thermodiffusion treatment is performed. Contact of core billet end to bottom part of shell billet, transportation of assembly billet to calibration device and calibration are performed in one travel of press.
EFFECT: higher quality of finished articles.
