FIELD: furniture production. SUBSTANCE: method involves impregnating wood with aqueous solution of carbamide; removing moisture and providing piezothermal treatment by heating the whole volume of wood at temperature of 132-170 C by superhigh frequency current or by contact method (thin sheet blanks). Moisture is removed by resilient pressing of blanks or by subjecting blanks to centrifugal forces. Complete dyeing of wood is provided by adding bivalent copper into aqueous solution of carbamide, improvement of moisture resistance - by introducing aluminum chloride, fire and biological resistance are improved by adding liquid glass. In other version, wooden blanks are preliminarily impregnated with carbamide solution with following heating, effectuated simultaneously with compaction of blanks performed in press.
