FIELD: rocketry and space engineering; device for load-bearing connection of space object with launch vehicle at side attachment of load. SUBSTANCE: transverse and longitudinal rods of device connecting the space object with launch vehicle are secured to pair of main frames of launch vehicle and to ferrule between them which is provided with load-bearing engine-support beams supported by frames and connected with longitudinal rods. Upper main frame is located in plane of transverse rods and lower main frame is located in plane of engine attachment. Each longitudinal rod is directed forward from space object to launch vehicle in way of flight from common geometric center of bearing pivot of engine attachment located on lower main frame and end of load-bearing beam and is connected with beam, pivot and frame in combined unit. As a result, forces terminate in short section by means of members which work in tension - compression; almost all load-bearing members are multifunctional and their number is minimum.
