FIELD: ionizing radiation detection means. SUBSTANCE: invention provides methods for manufacturing ionizing radiation detectors suitable for individual dosimetry control as well as for radiological, environmental, and other types of measurements. Detectors are manufactured on the basis of lithium fluoride by way of growing monocrystals in graphite shaper. To initial blend, titanium oxide, magnesium oxide, and magnesium fluoride are added in amounts 0.0001-0.001, 0.005-0.009, and 0.025- 0.04 wt %, respectively. Grown monocrystal rods are removed from shaper and split perpendicularly to grow axis into disks. No further mechanical processing is needed. EFFECT: increased average sensitivity of detectors. 1 tbl
