SUBSTANCE: device for connecting pipes includes first tubular connecting member 20 and second tubular member 30 which is received by first connecting member 20 and is provided with circular outer groove 31 located opposite pair of radial holes 23 in first connecting member 20. One end of pressure lever 40 is mounted in first connecting member 20 near each radial hole 23 and is provided with cam surface 41. Each pressure lever 40 has support 42 with setting lever 51 freely fitted in it; it may be turned to clamping position so that its cam surface enters groove 31 through respective radial hole 23. Locking support 25 is located under each radial hole 23 and is provided with vertical through hole 251 receiving first end part 514 of setting rod 51 when pressure lever is in clamping position.
