FIELD: optical instrumentation engineering, in particular, interferometers intended for spectrum scanning at a spectrum analysis of optical radiation at a high accuracy and good resolution; it can be used as a scanning and retunable Fabry-Perot interferometer and for selection of axial laser modes. SUBSTANCE: the Fabry-Perot interferometer has a case, hand drive of longitudinal displacement, piezoelectric drive having a case and three piezoelectric pushers, round V-shaped mirror plates fastened on V-shaped plates, with the wedge vertices oriented to opposite sides, having holes in the center equal to the clear aperture, and exterior surfaces parallel to the working surfaces of the interferometer plates; one of the V-shaped plates is movable relative to the interferometer case and made in the form of a right-angle prism, whose faces are made with a degree of planeness not worse than the working surfaces of the mirror plates, it is installed in the interferometer case on slip supports, with spring clamps installed against them to press the prism to the slip supports, and connected to the longitudinal displacement hand drive; the second V-shaped plate is movable relative to the case of the piezoelectric drive and installed on three piezoelectric pushers; each piezoelectric pusher is made in the form of aligned tubular piezoelectric elements inserted in each other so that one end of the external piezoelectric element is fastened to the piezoelectric drive case, the opposite end is rigidly coupled to the end of the internal piezoelectric element, whose free end serves as a support of the V-shaped plate; the hand drive is made in the form of an angle rotary lever, whose one end carries a fine adjustment screw resting on the interferometer case, and the opposite end carries a rocking fork with its ends resting on the prism end; return spring members are attached to the prism outer surface.
