FIELD: differential fiber-optic facilities for temperature measurement. SUBSTANCE: the meter uses an optical radiation generator connected to the input of the optical splitter, two fiber-optic micro-wave power transducers, each having a fiber light conduit with bent radius R, sensitive section with removed cladding placed in thermooptical medium; the first output of the optical splitter is coupled to the input of the first fiber-optic transducer, whose light-conducting core is bent with radius R1, and the second output of the optical splitter is coupled to the input of the second fiber-optic transducer, whose light-conducting core is bent with radius R2; besides, the outputs of both fiber-optic transducers are coupled to the respective inputs of the optoelectronic signal processing circuit. The offered fiber-optic micro-wave power meter is featured by the fact that the first and second transducers are additionally furnished with a casing, and the bending radius of the light-conducting core of the first fiber-optic transducer exceeds the bending radius of the light-conducting core of the second fiber-optic transducer; besides, the second fiber-optic transducer uses conducting reflecting material made in the form either of a coating applied onto the dielectric casing or on the boundary of the thermooptical medium, or in the form of a volumetric admixture to the thermooptical medium in the areas optically bound with the sensitive section.
