FIELD: geophysical investigations; applicable in search for underground objects and cavities in archaeological prospecting. SUBSTANCE: measurements and comparison of obtained results are carried out by the program of electrode switching contained in permanent memory 10 microcomputer 1 under control of microprocessor 8. Microprocessor 8 connects selected electrodes from unit 5 via control unit 14 of switching device 4 to measuring device 2 and generator 3, performs preliminary mathematical processing and analysis of measurement result which serve as a basis for selection of the next section of measurements. Computer 6 is used for mathematical processing of measurement results on the entire section of investigation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
