DEVICE FOR MEASURING IMPEDANCE OF BIOLOGICAL MEDIA Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/53

Abstract RU 2462185 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for measurement of impedance and phase angle of shift of current and voltage of biological fluids and tissues. Device contains measuring electrodes 1, measuring unit 2, digital computing device 5, analogue-digital converter 6, indicator 7. Device is also provided with digital-analogue converter 4, switched via outlet to generator of fixed stable current 3, which is connected with measuring unit 2. Measuring unit 2 is connected via inlets with measuring electrodes 1, and via outlet with analogue-digital converter 6, whose bidirectional bus is switched to digital computing device 5, switched via bidirectional bus to digital-analogue converter 4 and via unidirectional bus - to indicator 7. Measuring unit 2 consists of resistor half-bridges - standard 8 and measuring 9, lower arms of which are standard resistors, the upper ones being complete (active and capacitive) resistors between measuring electrodes.

EFFECT: application of invention will make it possible to increase accuracy of measuring impedance of biological media due to direct measurement of impedance and phase angle of current and voltage of biological fluids and tissues, improvement of interference immunity and thermal stability of measurements, stabilisation of passing through measuring electrode current, as well as due to provision of possibility of simultaneous multichannel measurement of parameters of various biological media.
