FIELD: optical fibres doped with resonance agents for alternation of characteristics of ultra-short light pulses passing through them. SUBSTANCE: resonance agent additions are distributed in optical fibre with formation of cross-section concentration of resonance additions, whose shape is determined by formula: , where n0 - index of refraction in waveguide axis; Δn - relative difference of indexes of refraction in waveguide core; δ - detuning of carrier frequency of pulse from the center of absorption line; ΔΩ - half-width of nonuniformly-broadened spectral absorption line; I = I(ρ) - cross-section of intensity in peak; I0 - maximum value of pulse intensity; ρ=r/r0 - lateral coordinate of $ normalized to core radius r0. EFFECT: enhanced quality.
