FIELD: photographic industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to creating three-dimensional images on silver halide layers and, in particular, to their protection. This task is achieved by applying protective composition onto hologram surface consisting of (in wt %): amino-formaldehyde resin, 15.0-25.0; alkyd resin, 19.0-37.5; solvent, the balance; followed by hardening composition at 100-140 C. EFFECT: increased wear and water resistance of coating to 1500 kg/mcm and 360 min, respectively. 1 tbl
