FIELD: medicine; traumatology; orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: it is known fact that suture applied onto fibular nerve, as rule, does not lead to complete restoration of nerve's motor function, since during denervation period paralyzed muscles are overstretched and their contractile function is affected. Proposed method is inventive novel in that application of suture onto fibular nerve is carried out simultaneously with surgical operation on anterior segment of patient's foot. Operation is performed using synthetic material Lavsan (it is commonly known is Western countries as Therylene, Dacron, Tergal) Lavsan tape is passed and fixed in form of frame through bony canals in tibia and in ossa metatarsalia, and also through subcutaneous tunnels along inner and outer surfaces of ankle joint. EFFECT: better conditions for preserving contractile function of paralyzed muscles and optimum conditions for regeneration of injured nerve.
