FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method consists in caking raw material with carbon and additives, treating thus obtained cake by water, and dissolving it in mineral acid. According to invention, caking is conducted in self-propagation high-temperature synthesis mode using, as additive, alkali metal nitrate, whereas cake is dissolved in hydrochloric or nitric acid at temperature not below 70 C and excess pressure up to 15 atm, process being performed in presence of hydrogen peroxide or glucose.
