FIELD: oil transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conveying crude oil containing hydrogen sulfide and consists in introducing alkali hydrogen sulfide neutralizer (mono- and/or dimethanolathanolamine) into oil stream flowing in pipeline. According to invention, alkali reagent is introduced in the form of aqueous solution prepared by interaction of monoethanolamine with 37% aqueous formaldehyde solution in molar proportion 1:(1-2), respectively. Aqueous reagent is used in quantity 6-18 g per 1 g of hydrogen sulfide to be neutralized. EFFECT: improved crude oil condition. 3 cl, 1 tbl
