FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to structures ensuring free movement of fish down- and up-stream in rivers crossed by dams. Fish passing facility has pools located between head and tail water-races and arranged one above other in two vertical rows. Pools of one row are displaced in height relative to pools of other row and are connected with them by inclined delivery troughs 8 and branching-out troughs 9. Troughs are adjoining side wall of each pool, and outlet bores 12 of delivery troughs 8 are arranged at intervals between inlet bores 11 of branching-out troughs 9 in common plane. Such alteration of inlets and outlets prevents swirling of water in pools to facilitate movement of fish in pools from one water-race to another. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 dwg
