FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fish ladders on hydraulic works designed for flood control. Proposed ladder-type fish facility for hydraulic works with dam, water storage basin and spillway work designed for flood control includes upper head and fish pass duct in form of trough with stepped bottom divided into number of basins by cross partitions with swim-in holes. Fish facility, from side of upper pond of hydraulic works, is provided with trough connecting upper head and minimum water level in water storage basin. Hydraulic works is furnished with pumping plant delivering water along pipeline into upper head of fish facility. Pump is set into operation by turbine supplied with water from water storage basin by water intake device of pumping plant.
EFFECT: invention provides passing of fish into upper pond of hydraulic works in years when water level is low and amount of flood is not sufficient to lift upper pond level to marks supplying fish pass.
