FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used for breaking and treating oil and gas reservoirs by high-temperature gases. This gives improved results in treating reservoir due to longer period of subjection to effective part of pressure pulse at burning of combustible-oxidizing compound. According to method, located in well is source of thermal energy. Control signal is sent for actuation of thermal energy source. Then, combustible-oxidizing compound is ignited. Location of combustible-oxidizing compound in well is effected by bringing pump-compressor tubes down to bottom hole. Calculated amount of combustible-oxidizing compound is injected into pump-compressor tubes, and aforesaid compound is pressure-pushed to treating zone. Pump-compressor tubes are lifted to safety distance from combustible-oxidizing compound. Thermal energy source is installed at depth of 10-50 m from top boundary of combustible-oxidizing compound. Used as thermal energy source is source with energy emittance (E, MJ), minimal value of which is determined from expression: E = K(Td - To), where K ≈ 0.1-0.125 MJ/K; Td - temperature of starting intensive decomposition of most thermally-resistant component of combustible-oxidizing compound, K; To - initial temperature of combustible-oxidizing compound in ignition zone.
