FIELD: medicine; physiotherapy. SUBSTANCE: use is made of complex massage of all sections of vertebral column irrespective of localization zones and discomfort. In addition to detection of zones of muscle local induration in lumbar region, zones of lower flexibility of muscles of neck, collar and interscapular regions, as well as muscles of chest end lumbar regions and buttocks are revealed by palpation. Then all detected zones are massaged alternately within one complex seance. Massage is performed by heating of muscles with subsequent deep pressing-in of indurated muscles at points of their fastening to bones. Force applied in this case ranges from 5 to 40 kg/sq. cm. Cyclic mode " heating-pressing-in " of massage is effected with force growing from 20 to 30 per cent from cycle to cycle. Every seance includes 2-5 cycles, each 3-8 min long. Odd treatment seances alternate with even recovering ones. During recovering seances force is reduced by 30-50 per cent. Seances are performed either daily or in 1-2 days, total number of seances being at least 10. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapeutic treatment. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
