FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method of restorative treatment of injuries in the craniovertebral articulation of the spine at the level of joint C0/C1 refers to medicine, neurology, physiotherapy, traumatology, orthopaedics and involves a stage of diagnosing functional state of patient's body, stage of treatment and rehabilitation stage. At the diagnostic stage, triggering zones and hypertrophied and hypotrophied skeletal muscles are detected. At the stage of treatment, starting from the surface muscular groups of the detected areas, by manual massage, then deeper muscular groups of identified areas and muscles by means of hardware massage to achieve symmetry of tonus of patient's muscular fibres, thereafter, spinal position correction is additionally performed by means of hardware massage, acting on vertebral transverse processes starting from L5 vertebra to C1 vertebra, wherein position of vertebra C1 is corrected as to skull base C0. At the rehabilitation stage, cervical, thoracic, lumbar spine centers are centered by manual therapy and applied kinesiology combined with kinesiotherapy.
EFFECT: result of declared method is stable, prolonged in time establishment of correct anatomical position of joint C0/C1.
