FIELD: control of approach and mating of space vehicles; TV monitoring; robotics, sports, etc. SUBSTANCE: device includes information components, two- row sequences and double cross-hairs. Used as information components are simple geometric figures: squares, rectangles, cubes, etc. Flat information components have two contrast colors in staggered order. Device provides for unambiguity of observation against arbitrary background with shade of cross-hairs, high accuracy of reading angles of orientation, possibility of used in fly-by in any plane containing extended boom (on which cross-hairs is fitted) and check of orientation with the aid of TV equipment by observation of second cross-hairs doubled with first one.
