FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: white phosphorus polymerization is carried out at temperatures form 323-573 K by using ionizing irradiation at absorbed dose power of 0.1-4 g/s. Red phosphorus preparation makes it possible to considerably reduce time for attaining the degree of conversion, and process is conducted at lower temperatures of 323-573 K, and the resulting product retains physical and chemical properties.
