FIELD: mining technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to extracting minerals from steep, inclined, synclinal and antisynclinal deposits. According to method, after creating primary quarry in part of deposit down to final or intermediate depth of mining with formation of end face side and distribution of overburden rocks in dumps, prepared quarry field is worked by stages along strike of deposit. At each stage, mining is performed in benches with deepening of work and transportation of overburden rock along dispatch ramps located on quarry sides directly to dumps. Transportation of extracted mineral to surface is effected along same ramps. Work at stages is continued in longitudinal stopes along entire length with formation of temporary unworked end face side where transportation ramps are arranged. In process of advancing working front, transportation ramps at each level of unworked side of preceding stage are crushed after making transportation ramp of same level in subsequent stage.
