FIELD: mining industry, possible use during open extraction of mineral resource deposits.
SUBSTANCE: method includes selecting stages and sub-stages and construction of deep quarry at differentiated side inclination angles corresponding to decreasing natural and man-made disruption of massif rocks with depth, operation to construction of vertical shelves and side sections in deep zones. Capping thickness of rocks is divided in transverse cross-section in hanging and lying sides of the deposit on inclined and steeply inclined layers with thickness, corresponding to sub-stages and stages of the deposit being extracted with completion of sub-stage and stage by construction of working area in lower zone of minimal width, sufficient for covering the underlying level and with creation of temporarily unused sides within limits of sub-stage and stage with changing steepness of banks in upper, middle and lower zones towards increase, and not exceeding their total average steepness of 35-36° at upper and middle levels. Doubled and tripled shelves of sub-stage and stage being completed are constructed using slits. Ramps are built in working side of quarry for transportation of capping rocks to dumps, located close to quarry in zone of second and following deposit extraction stages, while the ore is transported along the ramps constructed in non-working side of quarry. With deepening of mining operations, both capping rocks and ore from lower levels are outputted by inclined lifts, with inclination angle 35-45°, built in side zones of quarry, and fore ore - close to non-working side for loading onto main transport. In deep zones of quarry with narrowing of quarry space for delivery of rock and ore to the surface vertical lifts are used, constructed in steeply inclined and vertical sections of the side, while side sections for safety of operations are reinforced with metallic mesh and anchors. During extraction of ore body in a zone of open underground level, deposit is opened by ore chutes, driven close to lying side and its extraction is performed in horizontal layers.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of operations, lowered running and operation opening coefficients, increased quarry depth, lowered sub-grade drilling of wells and increased safety of operations.
