FIELD: domestic appliance. SUBSTANCE: refrigerator is operated by compressed air produced by a compressor. Compressed air is cooled in the radiator mounted out of the window of a room wherein a the cooling cabinet is arranged, expanded and cooled in the chamber filled with saline solution in which the freezing chamber is submerged. The cooling chamber is cooled by air issuing from saline solution to the atmospheric chamber arranged along the rear wall of the cooling chamber above the chamber filled with saline solution. Air is supplied from the atmospheric chamber to the compressor under a pressure of 1 atm. The compressor is mounted on the cabinet of the refrigerator. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 7 dwg
