FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: ground effect transport has railway vehicle and rail tracks. Ground-effect car is used as railway vehicle. It substitutes for several passenger and/or freight trains as to its passenger capacity and useful load carrying capacity and is provided with jet engines and pan space in form of air-and-gas lift and secondary jet engine and propulsion unit. Ground effect railway with concrete interrail bed divided by reinforced concrete barriers with flexible ridges is used as railway track. Barriers divide also underpan space of ground-effect car and from compression and expansion chambers for secondary jet engine and propulsion unit and air cushions of air-gas lift between adjacent barriers, track bed and bottom and side walls of underpan space of ground-effect car. The latter can be made in form of wing with tunnel underpan space and can be provided with front, rear and middle sections of wheel bogies. Barriers can be provided with flexible ridge connected with barriers by axle of rotation. Jet engines in form of spherical head can be installed in ground-effect car. Sections of wheel bogies can be connected by gearing and shields made of spring steel. Middle section can be furnished with brake skis and jack and can be connected by frame with two hollow rods installed through axles of rotation in brackets of upper portion of ground-effect car body walls. EFFECT: vehicle to substitute for existing railway vehicles. 6 cl, 16 dwg
