FIELD: optical transmission systems. SUBSTANCE: method consists in wiring of optical cable (1) having common protective coating made of electrically insulated material on supports spaced at considerable distances. Supports are designed to carry at least one electric power line (2) being under lead. After wiring is completed and with power line being loaded, at least one current-carrying member (II) is provided on supported optical cable or in it passing over entire length of supported optical cable in longitudinal direction. current-carrying member has sufficient conductance to pass any currents over cable which can be induced in capacitive way.
