FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: linear element which is stretched between posts of aerial power transmission line has at least one semiconductor component which provides linear resistance of element in range of 0.05-100 MO/m, and negative resistance temperature coefficient. Element may be designed as rope which is used for stretching wires of system or optical cable. Preferable material for manufacturing semiconductor component comprises carbon multiple fiber assembly, which is made from pyrolized acrylonitrile fibers. EFFECT: decreased or vanished "dry arc" effect. 15 cl, 7 dwg
