FIELD: medicine technics. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cavity filters and may be used for endovascular prophylaxis of pulmonary artery thromboembolism. Aim of invention is to create a light-weight, minimum-size cavity filter with resolving catching elements which, when implanted, would avoid postthrombotic disease of lower limbs as well as embolization and transmural migration of the filter into adjacent anatomic regions. Filter consists of endovasal stent made in the form of two elastic stainless-metal coils mounted coaxially at such a distance from one another which allows them to be curled in opposite directions. The coils are interconnected through a plate with arresters on its ends, which is mounted parallel to stent axis. Coils have holes arranged uniformly and circumferentially, through which crisscross catching filaments of resolving material are rigidly passed in direction from one coil to the other.
