FIELD: cleaning water from suspended solid particles. SUBSTANCE: filter includes cylindrical housing, hold-down ring with antifriction insert, rigid bearing plates of cellular form with perforations in center portion and filter material placed between plates. Upper bearing plate is provided with antifriction ring; filter material is made from needle-punched nonwoven material having density of 50 to 150 kg/cu.m. Hold-down ring may rotate relative to housing with the aid of threaded joint, thus packing the filter material and changing its porosity. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 dwg
