SUBSTANCE: method involves separate excavation, transfer and piling of soil layers and stripped rock into separate strips of tailings; working out open pit field by leveling it with stripped rock; laying nonwoven geotextile material made from synthetic filaments; sowing grass seeds and covering with 50-100 mm thick soil layer; applying chemical ameliorant onto soil layer.
