FIELD: mechanical engineering, metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: support has sleeve, screw shoe, thrust bearing made in the form of flat disk, planar-spherical intermediate disk fixed by splines relative to sleeve against to prevent this disk from rotation. Planar surface of intermediate disk is engageable with thrust bearing and lower spherical surface is rested on spherical base of support, which is also fixed relative to sleeve. Support has movable splint connection positioned between thrust bearing and intermediate disk oriented in the direction of rolling line. Thrust bearing has stops diametrically positioned in axial alignment with splint connection and spaced from side cylindrical surface of screw shoe. Liners are positioned between stops and sleeve. Such construction allows adjusting screw to be prevented from forcing out. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
