FIELD: rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: assembly is in the form of axially moving hollow axle supporting spiral gear mounted on it by means of spheric roller bearings. Axle is mounted in through and dead vertical openings of reduction gear and fixed by means of elastic members in its upper and lower portions. Upper elastic member is arranged in sleeve. Lower elastic member is mounted in turning of lower trunnion of axle. Level position of assembly in reduction gear and compression of elastic members are adjusted by means of gaskets and screw. It allows to suppress shock loads occurring in pinions of reduction gear with the aid of elastic members. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
