Abstract RU 2125917 C1

FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly screwdown apparatus of rolling stands of mills for hot and cold sheet rolling. SUBSTANCE: screwdown apparatus includes pressure screw with nut; load cell for measuring rolling effort; short-stroke hydraulic cylinder; stepped ram and sealing guiding cover. Nut of pressure screw is arranged in upper cross piece of stand frame. Pin is secured to end of stem of pressure screw. Short-stroke hydraulic cylinder is mounted on chock of upper backup roll. Stepped ram is arranged in cylinder and secured to stem of pressure screw. Upper portion of small-diameter ram passes through sealing guiding cover secured to cylinder. Ram has central dead opening in which thrust bearing is arranged. Thrust bearing contacts with pin of pressure screw along flat surface. Ram is secured to cross piece by its upper end. Cross piece engages with pickups secured to cylinder and designed for measuring skew of cylinder relative to ram. Load cell is arranged on bottom of dead opening of ram. Thrust bearing is secured to disc supported by load cell. Limiting ring is placed on stem of pressure screw over pin. Cross piece is secured to lower side of ring. Three brackets are mounted at both sides of axis of pressure screw. Central bracket engages with pickup for measuring ram skew relative to cylinder. Two lateral brackets engage with flat guiding abutments rigidly secured to struts of frame. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of rolling process, enhanced quality of rolled strips, increased efficiency of rolling mill, enhanced reliability and effectiveness of system for automatic control of rolling process. 6 dwg
