FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: trailer-train coupling gear has pole 1 adjustable in length by means of operating mechanism controlled by control system. Operating mechanism has double acting hydraulic cylinders 3 connected through hydraulic lines and hydraulic distributor 5 with accumulator 6 and pump 7, and pole lock 20 coupled with pneumatic cylinder 19 connected through pneumatic distributor 17 with air cylinder 18. Control system has electronic unit 8, supply source, steerable wheel turning angle pickup 9 and number of other members making it possible to adjust pole length automatically and manually.
