SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for coupling a semitrailer with a tractor. The recuperative pneumohydraulic fifth wheel coupling device of the road train contains a mounting plate with a saddle plate mounted on the mounting plate, two extreme supports, a hydraulic cylinder with a piston located in it, and hydraulic and pneumohydraulic mechanisms. The hydraulic mechanism includes two intermediate bearings and a hydraulic cylinder with four pistons. The intermediate bearings of the hydraulic cylinder provide its body with both rotary and reciprocating movements relative to the longitudinal axis of the tractor. The pneumohydraulic mechanism includes a pneumatic accumulator, four adjustable normally closed two-position two-line hydraulic valves, adjustable pressure reducing and safety valves, check valves, a hydraulic tank, an outlet port of the consumer of the recovered working fluid, main pressure and suction hydraulic pipelines, supply pressure and suction pipelines and central pressure supply and connection pipelines.

EFFECT: invention expands the functionality of the fifth wheel coupling of the road train and increasing the efficiency of its work.
