FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for determining along well depth of oil producing horizons and evaluation of their characteristics. Device has two measuring electrodes installed on body of drilling pipe with appropriate insulation, source of electric current, and voltmeter. Power source is connected directly to measuring electrodes, and through power amplifier with adjustable voltage amplification factor it is connected to body of drilling pipe.
