FIELD: radiochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: liquid wastes containing any concentration of hydrazoic acid in their composition are subjected to electrochemical treatment with titanium used as cathode and metal oxide (group IV or VII metals of periodic system of elements) as insoluble anode at load current of maximum value limited by anode current density corresponding to corrosion stability limit of anode material. EFFECT: complete disintegration of hydrazoic acid without using chemically active agents, reduced cost, provision for treating any wastes regardless of their characteristics. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 5 ex
