VARIABLE RESISTOR REALIZING FUNCTIONS OF POTENTIOMETRIC TRANSDUCER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: radio electronics, manufacture of resistors. SUBSTANCE: variable resistor realizing functions of potentiometric transducer has resistive element with metal leads placed in case of organic resin and rotary mobile system with spring-loaded pressing points closed in case by cover. Resistive element has upper flexible backing of organic resin, opposite-resistance backing placed under it and spacer positioned between them with spaces of working and commutation zones. Case presses resistive element over contour of flexible backing to form united unit with realization of function of membrane unit of resistive element. In this case pressing points of mobile system slide over smooth surface of flexible backing to ensure increased wear resistance of resistor. Case with metal leads forms closed plug of plug-and-socket connector. Case is provided with orientation hole matched with initial hole of resistor. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture of variable resistors. 6 dwg
