FIELD: transport engineering; headlight aiming systems. SUBSTANCE: device has control variable resistor, fixed resistors and the following devices for each headlight: power comparators, and electric drives with cylindrical planetary reduction gears and resistive transmitters. Series connection of fixed resistors provides higher interference protection which makes it possible to use resistive transmitters. Use of resistive transmitters together with planetary reduction gears bring to minimum overall dimensions and mass. Resistive layer of transmitter is sealed and protected from sliding friction by insulating gasket with port and flexible current collecting diaphragm. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics and safety of automobiles, enhanced interference protection, increased service life, reduced overall dimensions and mass and provision of correct aiming of headlights. 3 dwg
