FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has power contact shorted out by circuit set up of series-connected capacitors and main thyristor with resistor inserted between anode and gate electrode of the latter, load circuit with prevailing inductance component; first lead of second resistor is connected to point of connection of cathode of main thyristor, first plate of capacitor, and cathode of first back diode, second lead of mentioned resistor is connected to anode of second thyristor whose cathode is connected to second plate of capacitor, to anode of first back diode, to positive lead of load circuit, and to second lead of power contact whose first lead is connected to positive lead of power supply and to anode of main thyristor; load circuit is shorted out by network of series-connected second back diode and nonlinear resistive element; anode of second back diode is connected to negative lead of load circuit and to negative lead of power supply, cathode of second back diode is connected to first lead of nonlinear resistive element and their point of connection is connected through choke coil to gate electrode of second thyristor; second lead of nonlinear resistive element is connected to positive lead of load circuit.
