SUBSTANCE: device has power contact 1 shorted out by main thyristor 2, forced switching unit built up of thyristor 3, capacitor 4, choke 5, and backward diode 6, capacitor charging circuit set up of thyristor 7 and resistor 8, control circuit 9 for thyristors 2, 3, 7, and high-power voltage limiter in the form of nonlinear resistance unit 12 that can be connected in parallel with load 11, power contact 1, or capacitor 4 (according to connection points A, b, C of lead of unit 12 shown by arrow). Device provides for arcless disconnection of inductive load from power supply 10 and suppression of coil magnetic field by magnetic energy dissipation in the form of heat loss in high-power nonlinear resistance unit. EFFECT: improved efficiency of magnetic field suppression and arcless disconnection of inductive load from power supply. 1 dwg
