BRAKE DRIVE PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2095262 C1

FIELD: transport engineering; brake systems. SUBSTANCE: device has working medium pressure setter and pressure pickup connected to calculating logic unit, power element in form of transistor, electromagnetic valve installed in brake main line between pressure source and actuating member. The following devices are introduced additionally into brake circuit: first and second transistors, two voltage dividers, first and second limiting resistors. In service, logic unit forms corresponding pulses at output depending on pressure setter and pressure pickup signals. Output pulse, through voltage divider, drives transistor and power element in conduction and passes pulse through input to winding of electromagnetic valve making it operate. Information on good repair of valve - logic 1 - gets to input of unit. In case of fault in valve winding, logic 0 is delivered to input of unit. This will occur if power element id broken down.
